Our Service Area

Located in Aurora, Illinois, Mutual Ground serves the Greater Aurora area, Southern Kane and all of Kendall County.

We answer almost 2,000 calls for help each and every month with 24-hour hotlines staffed by trained Mutual Ground Crisis Intervention Advocates.

As one of the oldest and largest domestic violence and sexual assault service agencies in the state of Illinois, Mutual Ground is the place where the healing begins.

We provide comprehensive victim services free of charge with support from grants, churches, civic groups, corporate and individual donors.

Welcome to CASA Kane County

Volunteer, Donate or Connect to CASA Kane County!

CASA Kane County recruits, trains and supervises community volunteers who serve as Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) for children in court due to abuse, neglect or private guardianship.  They are appointed by the Juvenile and Probate Court Judges to be the Guardian ad Litem (GAL) for children under the age of 21.  CASA/GAL volunteers spend time with the children, families, teachers, therapists, and medical professionals to collect information that helps the Judge make the best interest decision for a safe, caring and permanent home for each child.  CASA Kane County's 250 active CASA/GAL volunteers advocate for nearly 550 children annually!

Volunteer

CASA/GAL volunteers are everyday citizens who are specially trained and appointed by the court to advocate for the safety and well-being of children who are victims of abuse or neglect.  They stand up for children and their futures.

Donate

You can support CASA Kane County through individual donations, event sponsorships, your company's matching gift program, or by hosting a fundraising event.  Your contribution will support CASA/GAL volunteers in their efforts to help our community's most vulnerable children.
